she/her

Ingrid is a postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Population and Public Health and a Michael Smith Health Research BC trainee. She completed a PhD in Forestry at the University of British Columbia, where her CIHR-funded research explored the health benefits of urban green space across the life course. Ingrid’s postdoctoral research focuses on understanding how residential green space is associated with cognitive function and decline among middle-aged and older adults. Her work aims to advance existing knowledge by studying the health impacts of different green space types and forms of contact, as well as exploring potential pathways linking green space to health outcomes. In her spare time, Ingrid enjoys spending time outdoors, going on long walks, and reading.
